Dress Shoe Orthotics
Narrow, low-profile dress shoes require a much slimmer and thinner type or Orthotic. Alpine Foot & Ankle Clinic can create comfortable Orthotics for dress shoes, ballet flats and even high-heel shoes.
Children’s Orthotics
We use specific Orthotics to assist children with significantly flat feet. Orthotics can also be utilized for children who have in-toe or out-toe conditions and/or those who have difficulty walking straight.

Frequently Asked Questions
My child has flat feet and walks funny. Does she need orthotics?
Not every child with flat feet needs orthotics, however some may benefit given the extent of their condition. We can also use orthotics to correct some gait abnormalities, such as in-toeing.
Are my orthotics covered by Alberta Health Care?
Unfortunately, custom foot orthotics are not covered by Alberta Health Care. However, most insurance policies do have some degree of coverage for custom orthotics. We will be more than happy to provide you with the proper documentation to be reimbursed by your insurance per your policy.
