
21 Jul Drs. Kevin Perry and Sahar Zaidi Join Alpine Team
We would like to welcome Drs. Kevin Perry and Sahar Zaidi to the Alpine Team. Both podiatrists will be seeing patients as of August 2021 and will be taking evening and weekend appointments. Our growing community needs well-trained, highly skilled podiatrists and we are thrilled to have these doctors return to Canada and serve our community.

Dr. Sahar Zaidi
Dr. Zaidi attended the University of Calgary after graduating high school, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree. She was accepted into the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Fl where she resided and studied for 4 years. During her time at BUSPM, she was an executive member of the Florida Podiatric Medical Student Association and chair of the Honor Committee. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine and was inducted into the Pi Delta Eta National Honor Society.
She then moved to New York to complete her 3-year surgical residency. She specialized in forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery at Montefiore Medical Center with an emphasis on Minimally Invasive Surgery and Techniques. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, Dr. Zaidi was deployed on the frontlines treating patients in The Bronx, one of the hardest hit areas during the first wave in the US. She also served as Chief Resident in her final year of training and Chief Resident of trauma at Jacobi Medical Trauma Center.
She is a professional member of the Canadian Podiatric Medical Association, College of Podiatric Physicians of Alberta, and American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
In her spare time, Dr. Zaidi enjoys travelling, fashion, and cheering on her favorite team, the Calgary Flames.

Dr. Kevin Perry
Dr. Kevin Perry is board qualified in both forefoot and rearfoot/ankle surgery. Dr. Perry offers both conservative and surgical management to the lower extremity. He treats all aspects of the foot and ankle, from ingrown toenails to complex fractures. He specializes in bunions, arthroscopy, sports medicine, diabetic foot care, complex reconstructive surgery and minimally invasive surgery.
Born and raised in Edmonton, AB Dr. Perry attended the University of Alberta where he was a scholarship athlete in both soccer, and track and field. In 2014, he graduated with a double major in chemistry and biological sciences. After graduating he moved to Philadelphia where he obtained his doctorate from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine where he graduated in the top 20% of his class and was awarded membership to the Pi Delta National Podiatry Honors society. Dr. Perry completed his three year surgical residency at Norton Healthcare in Louisville, KY where he received comprehensive training in all areas of forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, trauma, diabetic limb salvage and minimally invasive surgery. In his final year he served as the chief resident.
In his spare time Dr. Perry still enjoys playing and watching soccer and is an avid Manchester United fan. He likes going to the mountains to hike with his wife and dog and staying active whenever possible.
